One Rise East is a creative agency based in Walthamstow working across digital, print and environmental design. We specialise in strategic graphic design and bespoke event experiences for global brands in the advertising sector. Working alongside a team of talented designers, you have the ability to take a brief from concept to completion, producing 3D visuals and floorplans to effectively communicate your ideas with Lead Creatives and the wider team. With a great eye for detail you will be expected to adapt to feedback both internally and from the client in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
-The design and visualisation of exhibition stands and brand environments, working closely with the other senior designers and members of the production team.
-Produce accurate technical working drawings for construction
-Take briefs from concept through to completion, from small to large projects.
-Generate creative and innovative ideas in response to briefs from clients.
-Understand clients’ requirements and the needs of the people using the space to develop design concepts.
-Effectively communicate your ideas from concept stage through to final design effectively and clearly.
-Work with suppliers and source products, e.g. fittings, furniture, lighting, finishes, decoration and dressing.
-Create and be passionate about producing 3D visualisations for a range of spaces and environments.
-Consider creative alternatives of materials and suppliers in order to deliver a project on time and in budget whilst maintaining a high quality of design.
-Travel to events to supervise work on-site with the extended production and creative teams.
-Attend weekly meetings with the creative team to talk about work in progress and deliverables.
-Take part in studio wide brainstorms and contribute to studio discussions.
-Stay up to date with the latest trends, technologies, platforms and programs.
-Hold ownership of small projects.
Skills, experience and personal attributes
-5 years experience in 3D exhibition design.
For this position you will need to be proficient in the following:
-3D software (eg: 3DS Max, Sketchup, Cinema 4D)
-Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Photoshop) and other post production software
-Great organisational, teamwork and time management skills.
-Have the ability to work in a team environment and individually.
-An understanding of building works and production processes.
-Outstanding eye for architecture and design.
-Excellent verbal and written communication.
-Ability to prepare technical drawings for fabrication is essential.
-Strong eye for detail
-Open to feedback with a positive attitude
-Strong initiative and ability to think on your feet
